“Early morning coffee, crisp fall weather, gorgeous views, and all from the deck of your beautiful house. Wine or other adult beverage, crisp fall weather, star-gazing, and all from the deck of your beautiful house. This house has stunning views all around it, hiking trails within walking distance or a short car ride, and a beautiful neighborhood – the Aspen trees were spectacular. The house itself is updated, lovely, cozy, and very roomy. You can tell it is very well-kept and well-loved. The kitchen has all amenities you could want. The bathrooms are very nice and updated as well. There are delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options within the surrounding area (Vinny’s in Frisco was delightful) – it’s very hard to choose where to eat. There were lots of restaurants in Breckinridge that we wanted to try (some trendy, some not), but we just ran out of meal times! Great shopping – unusual and fun stores so you do not feel like you are at your neighborhood shopping center/mall. We had an amazing girls’ trip. Definitely going back – need I say more?!”

“We loved our stay in this modern, beautifully appointed home. The house was spotless and peaceful. And what a view of Buffalo Mountain and the far off mountain ranges when you look the other way. Private large deck was a plus as well. The little wild fox was fun to watch when he strolled past. We would definitely come again.”

“We had a fantastic time and loved everything about the house. With three kids under 5 yo, the house was a perfect setting with open space and trails out the back door. The home is beautifully remodeled and offers fantastic views. There’s even a cute fox that likes to hang out in the neighborhood and comes around the house regularly. We would absolutely recommend staying here!”

“Lone Star is by far one of the most beautiful places to stay. Our family, once again, enjoyed having coffee on the deck, biking, hiking, watching the wildlife, and just being together relaxing and making memories. Jennifer and crew, has made this home something to look forward to, again, next year. It has everything that you need!!”

“Beautiful home with amazing views! Hiking trail is right beyond the back yard and we enjoyed almost daily visits from a variety of animals from a moose to a few deer and several foxes. Home is just a short drive to so many great towns and things to do – explored Loveland Pass, white water rafted in Buena Vista, rode bikes down the Vail pass, rode the Alpine slide in Breckenridge and hiked a variety of trails. Home was very comfortable, clean and all the amenities were top notch. Would highly recommend this property!

“Super comfortable and well stocked. Lots of linens, great kitchen and even a floor fan in the master closet which we were glad to have. Everything was clean and the back deck is a great size. Really enjoyed it!!”

“Jennifer was so responsive to any questions I had. My family (7 of us total) were in town celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. The house was perfect. We played many games of uno, trivial pursuit and others on the dining table and used the grill to cook dinner every night. The whole place is updated and very comfortable. The master bed was comfy and the pillows were fantastic. The master bath shower was awesome. I would definitely stay at this home again with a trip to Summit County. It was close enough to everything but far enough away that it was quiet (the little fox does do a little barking early in the morning).”

“The house was amazing inside and out. There was plenty of room for my family of 4. We enjoyed the view of Buffalo Mountain to the back of the house and Lake Dillon from the front. Jennifer was quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope to stay at this home again in the future.”

“We spent 7 days at this great cabin in Silverthorne. The location makes it feel you’re in the middle of the wilderness, but you’re 10 minutes from great shopping and eating in Silverthorne, Dillon or Frisco. It comfortably held my wife and I, our 3 mostly grown children, and my wife’s parents. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for us and we used them often, and the deck–wow what views! The only downside of our week was the impact of the June fires; the national forest trail out the back door of the house was closed–but even with that it was a great week. We totally plan to use this cabin again!”

“This home is beautifully appointed, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Home has been recently remodeled and is gorgeous inside. It has a large deck to enjoy the stunning views. Loved watching the sunrise and drinking coffee in the early mornings. Master bedroom was large and had a balcony…bed was very comfortable. Owner Jennifer was amazing to work with. She was always very quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. Can’t wait to return.”

“Outstanding property and location. We had 7 adults and 3 children under the age of 3. Plenty of room and extremely comfortable. Majestic mountain views via an expansive wood deck. Well equipped kitchen, we didn’t need a thing. On my list to return! Jennifer and team went out of their way to help make our stay a most memorable family vacation.”

“The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house is extremely nice and the views are fantastic. We had a total of 7 people on our trip and we had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the linens. The appliances were fantastic and having a washer and dryer definitely came in handy. There are great trails right behind the house that were perfect for hiking trips. The pipes did rattle a bit, but it was only at night and it didn’t happen to often and when it did we didn’t mind! Jennifer was also super helpful with anything that we needed to know for the trip, and when we had questions during our stay she responded very fast! Would definitely stay here again!”

“We had a great time staying here. It is a beautiful home, with trails in its backyard, a real wood fireplace, amazing views of copper, the lake, and buffalo mountain. Jennifer was so helpful with anything we needed. We had a hot water issue, but she was there for us and sent a plumber out to fix it right away. She always made it right. Highly recommended!!”

“The Lone Star Mountain Retreat is just that a Retreat! Gorgeous views, privacy and enough space for the whole family. This house also has one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve had at a VRBO, made it really easy to cook our family style meals for 8. You will not be disappointed in staying here!”

“We had a wonderfully relaxing time during the long weekend that we stayed. The home is on a hill backing to a National Forest, has breathtaking views in every direction and is perfectly updated with everything you need – even books and games are provided. Each bedroom has its own personality and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. There were only two of us but the home is very spacious and could easily accommodate a large group or family. Silverthorne is a lovely town with lots of shopping and restaurants. They also have a great library and community center with a pool and tennis courts. We visited the library this trip and hope to make use of the community center next time. It was a short trip to picturesque Breckenridge for more shopping and dining – the drive there and back was beautiful. I had to work some while I was there and service was great for phone and internet. Can’t wait to make another trip!”

“What a great week! Our family was able to spend time together in this beautiful updated mountain home. Every detail was taken care of and we just moved in. The deck, with the awesome mountain view, was so peaceful for morning coffee and gorgeous evening sunsets. We biked, Fresco to Dillion and back, and had lunch on the marina at the Tiki Bar. Most of us hiked to the Lily Pad while the adventurous climbed Buffalo Mountain. Our son-in-law biked up Swan Mountain and we took the grandgals to Sapphire Point to feed the chipmunks. ( Don’t forget the Sunflower Seeds.) We loved exploring the national forest, right outside the door. We relaxed and enjoyed your mountain home! We look forward to the next time! Thanks for the memories!”

“Perfect for us. Backed up to forest with hiking trail. The home is beautiful and had everything we could need. Spacious, great location, loved it.”

“It’s rare that everyone in an extended family group reaches consensus: however, Lone Star Ranch provided that unique opportunity! From the location to the layout and furnishings, all agreed this was a fantastic location for our family get-together! With spectacular views, close-up visits from local wildlife and proximity to hiking trails that meet the needs of a full range of abilities and interests, all agreed that Lone Star is a place we hope to visit again. We were all captivated by Mom Moose and her 2 young calves who visited daily to enjoy the apparently tasty Aspen and a beautiful male fox who slid through the rear of the property promptly at 4:30 each afternoon. Kitchen facilities more than met the needs of our “cooks” and the HUGE bin of Legos was a welcome diversion for our 2 little boys during the few afternoon showers. Thank you – we hope to visit again!”

“We stayed at this home for 3 nights and it was amazing. The home is very nice and welcoming, has a nice fireplace and the view is simply amazing. There was 8 of us and we had plenty of space for everyone. The Kitchen was nice and new and had pots and pans for our use. We did not go out for dinner once while staying in CO, made all of our meals from this home and each meal was great. Behind the deck is a hiking trail that we went on our second day here. We did not have to drive anywhere to get to a good trail with great views for a nice hike. Everything about this place is great. You have to see it for your self. This place can easily accommodate a family reunion or friends getting together. The town is close by for any food/beer runs you need to make and would have anything you would want. We visit breweries while out there. To long didn’t read version; You will not be disappointed with this location.”

“We rented this house for a month for our 5-person family. Everything about it was excellent because everything is new and all the furnishings are very upscale. The internet service was very good. The cell service was very good (for those of us who have to work on “vacation”). It’s very quiet, and the neighbors are never around! Silverthorne is very nice, close to everything, and has all the conveniences. With Frisco and Dillon near by, there is no need to drive more than 10 minutes or any amenities. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!”

“The house was super clean, inviting, and stocked with everything we needed! The listing says “fully stocked kitchen” and I can’t think of one thing that was missing. There was a pack and play provided for our little one, which made traveling with a baby much easier. Having the national forest right there gave us plenty of space to run around. We will definitely be returning!”

“Our family stayed for the week and had a great time. The home is great! It is a 2 story home so if stairs are a problem then this isn’t perfect for you. Otherwise it is wonderful. Very well equipped and intuitively organized. The beds are great quality and all the appliances are new and very nice! Plenty of bathrooms and TVs for all the guests. Provided games and local interest literature to help find the perfect local things to do. We went skiing but found time to take some scenic drives in the area. The property is adjacent to national park land for hiking and snow shoeing. We all had a great time and highly recommend this home. Thank you for a perfect spring break ski vacation!”

“We rented this house for 4 siblings and their spouses. We were in Silverthorne for a nephews wedding. The house was absolutely perfect for us. The view was beautiful, all rooms were very clean, and nicely decorated. Would easily stay here again!!”

“The property is spectacular and well cared for. The facilities are excellent. The beds are very comfortable. The location is great. Definitely at the top of our list as far as places we have stayed when on vacation. Will definitely visit again. Thanks for making your home available to us.”

“House is absolutely wonderful. Very nicely updated with everything you need. Location is great with beautiful views all around. Very close to town and if you are skiing, it is close to all the best areas. Owners are so helpful and answered all my questions promptly. We are looking forward to an extended stay next time.”

“The layout was great. As parents and grandparents, we used the master bedroom (which was very spacious) located on the same level as the living/dining area and kitchen. Our daughters and their families stayed on a lower level so everyone had some level of privacy. The grandchildren are small enough that they still wake up during the night but the home is solid enough that the sound didn’t travel upstairs. IF I was going to make a complaint, it would be that there needs to be some sort of window treatment for the living/dining area. In late afternoon, the sun was so bright that we found ourselves moving around the room to avoid the glare.”

“Stayed in this gorgeous place with my one year old daughter, my husband, and my parents. There was enough room where we didn’t feel on top of each other. More than enough bathrooms for everyone’s privacy. And my daughter got to experience fires every night in the fireplace, which she truly enjoyed. The Christmas tree set up was a very magical touch and having a pack n play already there was so convenient! We felt right at home, only we were constantly reminded we weren’t with the breathtaking views out each window (and there are lots of windows that let in natural light). I hope to return someday! So memorable! Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing your house with us!”

“We enjoyed our stay, no complaints at all. Was clean and comfortable. Great location. All the amenities we needed and thensome. Had a friendly fox visit us on the deck. Our kids enjoyed the legos! And the park by the marina in Dillon.”
